The List / MARCH
Say hello to your monthly list of what we’re listening to, reading, doing and loving. A cultural spattering of things both food and non-food related, to fill the time when were not grafting on the floor, in the kitchen or on the land.
Grayson Perry - The Descent of Man
An easy-to-read, humorous dive into toxic masculinity and how it presents in our everyday lives and relationships. A must-read for all genders.
Abi Allen's Virtual Workout Classes
Abi’s classes have been getting us through lockdown. Her ethos of ‘wellbeing over weight loss’ is what we want to see more of from the fitness industry, and we always feel AMAZING after joining her workouts. Banging playlists too.

Gardening
Not exactly Charlie Dimmock just yet, but lockdown’s given us a major case of the Green Fingers. We’ve been enjoying getting out into the garden on the reg – even if it’s just to tend to the weeds and water that stubborn pot of rosemary that’s somehow still alive – purely for the fresh air and to keep the body moving. Highly recommend.
Promising Young Woman, dir. by Emerald Fennell
Just watch it. That’s all we have to say.
Remember Where You Are, by Jessie Ware
Our daily lockdown walk soundtrack. This has seen us through many an early morning rainy dog walk, sunset stroll, and quick round-the-block-just-to-get-out walk.
Raise the Bar - Billie Quinlan
Listened to the first ep of Raise the Bar podcast in the bath yesterday and already loving it. This chat is with Billie, Founder of sexual wellbeing app Ferly, who found her professional purpose after experiencing sexual assault at work. It’s super inspiring and has lots of tips for things like imposter syndrome and goal setting.
Will Hislop - Feminist Fuckboy on a Date
Because we all know one of these guys.
The Level
If you’ve ever struggled to find decent clothing second-hand, The Level is for you. Vintage and pre-loved clothing, it’s a perfect option for balancing sustainability and style.
Married at First Sight Australia
Absolutely no regrets. This has got us through many a dull lockdown evening. If you’re looking for a dirty binge watch, you can get no better.
Clara
Basically a Spanish shandy, clara con limon is our current go-to tipple. It’s the reassurance we need that Spring is springing. Just mix beer and Fanta Lemon and pretend you’re somewhere hotter and sunnier and everything will be A-okay.
