We are so excited to be partnering up with Foodchain, a business we fully believe in and support. If you don't know about them, Foodchain work to make a better supply chain when it comes to how we connect with farmers, read more here.
On Wednesday 30th October we’ll be boarding a coach and leaving London to visit two of their producers, plus a remarkable baker and ending with a
three course lunch by a fantastic chef.
Who we'll visit
Nettlebed Creamery, the award-winning cheese producer headed up by Rose Grimond. Here we’ll take a tour of her unit, understanding how her cheeses came about and Rose’s personal story into cheesemaking.
Lizzie Dyer, the wonder of a farmer behind Cotswold Kidmeat Company - aka. Just Kidding. Lizzie rears billy kid goats which would otherwise have been shot at birth as a by-product of the dairy industry. We’ll get a tour of her farm (including a play with her adorable, friendly billy goats) before we sit down to lunch.
Who we'll meet
We’ll be lucky enough to be joined by Kitty Tait from The Real Orange Bakery, the 15-year-old taking the baking world by storm with her innovative pastries and breads - she’ll be bringing some of these for us to try alongside our morning coffees.
Margaux Stepcynski, co-founder of Goat in the Garden and formerly of The Gordon Ramsey Group, The Square and Restaurante Martín Berasategui. Margaux will be preparing a three course feast for us using Nettlebed Creamery cheese and Cotswold Kidmeat Company.
