The Shift Show cook along with Sally Abe

The Shift Show is L.O.R.’s chat show that airs throughout the week on Instagram LIVE! Each episode we kick off with a team briefing and an aperitivo before our guest joins us ‘on shift’ to teach us something, help us cook something or just have a good old chat. All our episodes can be re-watched on our IGTV in case you miss it live.

On this episode we’re joined by chef, Sally Abe. Sally is the head chef of The Harwood Arms in London, and has been spending her time in lockdown, cooking with her husband for The Felix Project, Age UK and Hospitality for Heroes. When she’s not on the pots and pans, Sally loves a gin or a buttery chardonnay.

Sally recently cooked on Great British Menu, and will be teaching us how to make her Cheese & Onion Tart. The perfect afternoon snack, to have with an aperitivo.

2 onions

6 egg yolks

450g whipping cream

5g rosemary

9g salt

100g cheddar cheese

INGREDIENTS (PASTRY)

300g Plain flour

150g butter

3 egg yolks

3g salt

30ml water

8 inch tart shell
