Gemma Bell is the founder of one of the most successful PR firms in the UK, Gemma Bell & co. Her love of restaurants started while studying when she worked for the likes of Marco Pierre White before getting a full-time job at one of London’s most exciting hotels which opened back in 1999, St Martins Lane by Ian Schrager. After 5 years with the company Gemma moved into PR, working for an agency and then taking the plunge to go freelance about 10 years ago. In October 2011 Gemma Bell and Company Ltd was formed and now Gemma, MD Alice Grier and the team work with the very best restaurateurs and hoteliers including Ottolenghi, Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett, Nieves Barragan, Padella, Goodman, Ace Hotel, Zetter Townhouses, The Pilgrm and The Wild Rabbit in the Cotswolds.
